| 20.08.2023 Turrivania nearly finished Łukasz Maniewski´s Turrivania, a T2002X Levelpack based upon Lionheart, Ruff 'n' Tumble and Castlevania is nearly finished and will be released the following week. Sadly, he says it will be his final levelpack. | ||||

| 02.05.2022 Atmosphere Album Crowdfunding Campaign by Kordian Więcek Kordian, who brought you the epic Dueling Pianos: Turrican Piano-Arrangement, has a croundfunding-campaign for a (not Turrican-related) Piano-CD: "After long work and 2 albums I'm starting a crowdfunding campaign to produce an album with my songs. The videos I uploaded earlier pretty much reflect my taste in music, however this is not a classical music album. I would like the whole thing as an ambient music with different influences, e.g. describe Japanese composers. You will find a lot of information on the Startnext campaign, otherwise post your questions. I would appreciate your support so that we can join this musical journey together.  20.03.2022Rendering Ranger makes a comeback Rendering Ranger, another Masterpiece by Manfred "The Master" Trenz, for Super-Nintendo, seems to make a comeback. Which is nice, because it is nearly unknown and has a tragic backstory. First it featured hand-drawn graphics but then got changed to prerendered graphics because Donkey Kong Country was so successfull at the time. And then it only got released in Japan (!) and only 10.000 units were produced. So it´s sadly mostly known as overprices collectors-item. Ziggurat Interactive announced the got a licence for it, I guess they´ll re-relase it in some emulated form. "Rainbow Arts’ most prominent release, Rendering Ranger: R2, is one of the most sought-after games for the Super Famicom, as only 10,000 copies were manufactured and were only available in Japan. As part of the agreement, Rendering Ranger R2 joins Ziggurat’s extensive library, and the company has promised an update on their plans for Rendering Ranger: R2 later this spring."  15.03.2022Celâl Kandemiroğlu passed away I´m still shockend and deeply saddened, Celâl Kandemiroğlu, the creator of the iconic Turrican-covers and a damn lot of fantastic german 80s commodore videogame- and magazine-covers passed away about 11-03-2022, much to early. My sincerest condolences to his family and friends. A bit more at my Temple of Celal. | ||||

 16.10.2021Dueling Pianos: Turrican by Kordian Więcek What a nice surprise in the morning: Kordians fantastic Turrican-arragemenent got released as an album by Chris Huelsbeck, congratulations! "Chris Huelsbeck Productions just released Dueling Pianos: Turrican by Kordian Więcek, check it out here. “Check out this new suite of Turrican piano arrangements for 2 players / 2 full instruments (also known as Dueling Pianos) created by Kordian Więcek, who is an accomplished piano lecturer (instrumental pedagogy) and musical educator! He had the idea in 2014 to arrange “The Great Bath” for 2 pianos played by 2 students and adapt the piece for their skills. The result was an independent and varied version of the work. Having a lot of fun arranging, the “Opening” was written 2 months later, which consists of all 3 Main Themes of Turrican, with the theme of the second title forming the main motif. The remainder of the album - which was designed in the style of program music - was created in 2 weeks during the autumn break and was completed in October 2014. The work musically reproduces the gaming experience that one can live through in a video game. The world premiere took place on March 21, 2015 in Siegburg." | ||||
